COVID-19/Coronavirus advice to all passengers
Brendan Manion Coaches Pty Ltd is responding to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak under the guidance of the Tasmanian Government (Department of Health) and workplace health and safety, and we have a range of measures to mitigate the safety risk posed to passengers and staff. These measures aim to:
PREVENT the spread of COVID-19
PREPARE for situations that may arise as a result of the outbreak, including cases of confirmed or potential infection
RESPOND to and RECOVER from situations that do occur in a timely and effective way
In order to prevent and prepare, Manions’ Coaches have organised enhanced cleaning and sanitising of all buses.
Manions’ Coaches constantly monitor COVID-19 advice, receiving regular industry updates and recommendations from the relevant departments and continue to review our practices to coincide with the latest advice.
We encourage everyone to practice good hygiene when travelling on public transport, and in keeping with the Tasmanian Government’s COVID-19 advice, Manions’ Coaches reminds all passengers to please consider your need to travel if you are feeling unwell.
When travelling on passengers transport where possible please try to keep a distance from other passengers. If you need to cough or sneeze, please use a tissue and dispose of it correctly, or a flexed elbow if a tissue is not readily available.

Eligible FREE TRAVEL student need to make sure they have been issued with a "green card"
which has a CURRENT expiry year on the card otherwise normal student fare applies
TRANSFER STUDENTS THAT RIDE ON MORE THAN ONE BUS ON THE WAY TO SCHOOL AND ON THE WAY HOME MUST STATE THEY ARE TRANSFERRING FROM "THE OTHER MANIONS' SERVICE" OTHERWISE ANOTHER FARE WILL BE CHARGED.
A Transfer Pass must be obtained for free travel on the second bus when the second bus is not a Manions' Coach.
Students pay on the first bus on the way to school and the same bus on the way home from school.
The student bus pass for free travel enables students to travel for free between home and school on school days, between 6.00am and 7.00pm.

Student Greencards for free travel can be applied for at Service Tasmania on by visiting https://eform.transport.tas.gov.au/sbpoaf/default.asp and clicking on the green card on the screen.
